I love to read Disney's Ruffles and Stuff blog and I always find great ideas whenever I'm on it, so the day my daughter skipped into ballet class, tripped, and tore a hole into her tights, I was almost excited. (Don't worry! I made sure she was okay first!)
I could hardly wait until I got home so I could try out Disney's sock tutorial. I made anklets. I'd like to say that I meant to make anklets, but that would be a lie. I'm not sure where I went wrong, but they ended-up being too short to make knee socks as I intended. Really. I thought I had cut them the length of her calves, but I think I needed to take stretch and sewing process into account to make them work.
I'm still pleased with the anklets. My daughter said she felt like she was a princess, so I guess it all worked out. Now I just have to wait until she gets another hole in her stockings, so I can try to make knee socks. That should be in about five minutes...

I'm off to CHA this weekend. I'd love to see you if you are going to be there too! You can find my schedule here. Stop by and say hi!
