Whew! July is over! What a mad rush of happenings: weekends away, activities galore, etc!
Time to settle back in now that August has arrived and get some sewing done!
Here are a few things I've been up to:
I've been saving this beautiful vintage tablecloth for months now. I got it at a thrift store for three bucks!
I turned it into this quilt, along with a bunch of Heather Ross fabrics I've been hoarding for a couple years:
Here is the back view: (more details on my blog)
Next up: I created these little pants for JellyBean from a pattern I created, a T-shirt, and an old pair of my pajamas:
I also created this skirt from stash fabric:
And here is my favorite super-quick TRUE RECYCLE project: I know it doesn't take a genius to figure this one out, but there is a tutorial here!
My goals for this week are to 1) excavate my sewing room (I moved most of the rest of my "stuff" up to my new room), and 2) make myself some pajamas that are still comfortable yet less, shall we say, DOWDY. ........Any suggestions on a pattern or style?
Wish me luck!
