I found this horrible dress (above) made with awesome fabric at the GW a couple weeks ago. It took me a little few days to transform it into a jacket, because I hand-stitched it all to make sure I got it right, but it was fun to make. The whole thing, all the parts, cost me $5 and the only thing I didn't thrift were the buttons (which was $3 of the cost). I have many more photos and all the details on my blog.
