Opionins?

Hi Refashionistas,
I found this great vest and want to make a bag out of it. The problem is I just don't know which pattern to choose given the amount of material I have to work with. Pudding Cup thinks I should do another messenger bag with it, but I am thinking that it would make a more interesting purse-type bag. I am partial to the Margaret Sling and the Bow Bag over on DIYBags. What do you all think?? I would really appreciate any opinoins that anyone might want to share!. Thanks!!
