First of all, I have to say that I "heart" Melly & Me patterns. That being said, here's a bag that I made for a swap over on the Snickerdoodle Deams ning.
I used a Wilendur tablecloth for the body of the bag (I thought strawberries were a good choice since I live very close to strawberry farms and my partner loves red) and fabric from my stash for the contrast pieces. The red buttons are vintage and the yellow button is one of those craft buttonsyou get in the packs at JoAnn's.

As is my custom, I added feet to the bottom because it is a rather stiff bag:
I'll definitely be making myself a bag like this and very soon!!
