The Wardrobe Reconstruction Zone being set up at the show.
I spent all day at the showgrounds today getting ready for the opening day tomorrow. On my feet from 7am and finally got home at 8:30pm. People were still working when i left to get the show ready for the doors opening at 9am in the morning.
Above you can see the Wardrobe Refashion Construction Zone being set up. A very large space set up with sewing machines, overlockers, clothes to refashion and heaps of wonderful supplies generously donated by SSS, Beutron and the Co-op shop. Thanks to Brother, Hemline and Sew Easy!!
The Reconstruction Zone runs all day every day of the show. Bring your own garment to refashion or grab something from the pile. I look faorward to seeing you there!
Oh and did i tell you that Faythe Levine is premiering her film Handmade Nation at the show?? Oh yes she is! I'm hoping to steal some time one day to watch it. And did i tell you how lovely she is? So lovely!
