Stencil Me Happy

oooooookay... so another project under my belt.
to keep the hands busy this weekend, i practiced my hand stitching for the first time since i was like 9 on my grandma's couch.
It was an old tank top that had bleach spots and was too large to be flattering anymore....
soooo why not eh?
here's how it turned out! :) i put it on the bottom, right hem, and i actually really liked it when it was done!

soooooo that didn't quite satisfy me though.... i needed more! I remembered a really neat tutorial i'd run across.  Freezer paper as a stencil (http://www.neitherhipnorfunky.com/?p=106) and i said "hey why not"
well i was sooo into it, i was so excited..................... and it turned out great!
here's the back of the same tank top! (The "MB" stands for "MAHALO BITCHES" a bit of a theme between my girlfriend and i)

however... in all my excitment.... i forgot to place a barrier INSIDE, between the layers of shirt.... and sure enough... *sigh*
here's the front again... my poor stitching has been compromised! :(

but whatever... i still *LOVE* it and wear it :) WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE i can't wait to try it again... with CARDBOARD inside! DUH!
