Rainy Day

We've been in a drought for so long that I wouldn't dare complain about it being such a rainy week!

Still, it puts a damper on the spirits, so I decided to take a long-forgotten shirt and make something fun and sunny. It was a shirt from when I was a lot bigger so there was plenty of fabric available to work with.

I fiddled with pattern after pattern - all afternoon - but didn't hit on the right thing until I laid out the pattern pieces for a bikini.

I figure the sun will come out....eventually!
