Here's my verions of the Lily Linen Dress.
I wasn't sure how the style of this dress would look on me being such a shorty so i made it up in some linen from the stash. I tried on Colette's version which is a size small and i felt like i was swimming in it so i cut an extra small and shortened the hem by a good 10cm. After one wear i realised my hem didn't hang right and the sleeves were just a little too long for me so i re-cut them just above the elbow and re-sewed the hem, which ended up shorter than i would have liked.
It' a great pattern and i love how the pockets are constructed, they're a little tricky but if you follow the instructions bit by bit you'll get there. Just remember to make 2 mirror image pockets...just saying. The only thing i don't like so much? The linen creases. I think i'd make it in a different fabric if i make it again.
