Today is my only day off until next Sunday, i'll be spending the first 3 days of the week with 60 social entrepreneurs (which always wipes me out due to information overload) and the next 3 days working. So, i'm spending the day in my pj's and sewing the Tessuti Lily dress in a beautiful mustard linen from the Fabric Store which i've had in my stash for quite some time. I tried on Colette's dress and found it too big and too long so i've cut the XS and shortened the pattern by 10cm. I may shorten the sleeves too.
I started knitting this quick and easy sweater last night while watching Breaking Bad. I'm knitting the Diana version (with the holes).
The kit is from Kollabora, a great new site created by Nora (who started BurdaStyle) and her team. Kollabora is a place to share your creations but you can also buy supplies from their marketplace which i think is a wonderful idea especially for people unable to buy locally.
The kids have finished their 3rd week of school and seem to be loving it. Esme talked non stop about symetry the other night and Mia is excited about the 3 birthday parties she has been invited to (all in the same weekend!). Heidi is loving that she gets all the attention during the day but still loves picking her sisters up at the end of the day and Kev has a new job which he starts this week. I'm thinking i'll finally get my arse off the sofa and back to the sewing machine on those nights. I've got to say, i'm really loving this change in routine, it's so refreshing!
