Yep, i managed to forget i have a blog....again. Life just gets in the way and i'm ok with that. There has been a huge change in routine here, my big girls started attending school. Homeschooling has been wonderful for us but for numerous reasons we've decided to give school a go.
The first week was extremely tiring for them and after their first day they were emotional and not so sure about it but i'm happy to say that we're 2 weeks in and they seem to be loving it. They have made friends, have party invites, dressed up for book week and Esme was awarded 'Student of the week' for her narrative skills. She was so proud of herself and has declared she now wants to be an author and spent the weekend writing stories.
Routine has not only changed for Mia and Esme but for the rest of us too. Heidi is loving her time with us during the day, she has been out and about a lot in two weeks including visiting North City 4 where she made friends with Humphrey (who was as big as she is!).
Kev and I are finding it all a bit strange but in a good way. It's much quieter at home during the day (when we are actually home) and the house seems to be tidier too, bonus! We've struggled for time, which i'm sure many of you do too and our routine has been feeling stale. Change is good and spring is here! Yippee!
