Today i was accused of slacking off with my sewing by a customer at work because she's not seen any blog posts for some time. I assured her i've been sewing up a storm, i just haven't been blogging about my creations. I seem to have got out of the habit of blogging regularly this year, i dropped my camera and damaged the lens and while it still takes pictures it's just not right, then i often forget to take photos or ask the girls at work to take them when the light is good. Ah who am i kidding? I've become a lazy arsed blogger.
So, i thought i'd better get to it, take some photos on my iphone and post about one of the many things i've made.
DETAILS
Pattern: Snowy Owl Cardigan
Yarn: Heirloom Easy Care 8ply from Morris & Sons
Buttons: Hearts from Tessuti Fabrics
Size: 4
I knit a size 4 but it turned out much bigger than i expected. Maybe that was because of my choice of yarn but it fits and it'll take a long time for her to grow out of it ;) Oh and she didn't want the owl.
In none sewing/knitting related news i visited Sydney a few weeks ago as part of my course with SSE. We spent 3 days overlooking Bondi beach......
Not bad at all! I saw whales playing :)
Handmakers Factory is coming along slowly but surely. I'm enjoying taking my time with this and figuring out the best way to do things rather than jumping in at the deep end hoping i'll swim and not sink. There has been a lot of planning and decision making so far but i feel things will start to move forward more rapidly now.
I've discovered Typepad now has an app, i think there could be more blogging happening around here.
