I'm still here...busily working away on life. Spring is awakening an itch, an itch to get things done and it's itching bad. There always seems to be so much to do around this time of year. The weather starts to warm up so there are new clothes to sew for my girls, the garden needs much attention (which it has been receiving), i feel the need to get out and exercise more, there are numerous birthdays (for which i must sew for) and Christmas looms. CHRISTMAS! bloody hell! Where did the year go?! (we have started on the Christmas present shopping though, v. pleased with ourselves we are). This time last year we were in the UK visiting family, it seems like yesterday but at the same time so long ago.
The weeks seem to fly by, my working week starts on a Wednesday and it feels like it's the weekend again in no time at all. Then the weekend disappears and it's back to work again. One of the downsides to time going so fast is i never feel like i've managed to get much done. There's always a list of un-ticked tasks in my head bugging me, argh! i'll get to you list...one day!
This week i'm all muddled up, i've swapped a shift (a certain little girl turns 6 on Thursday) so i'm working alternative days and find myself wondering what day it really is, is it Sunday? no wait it's Tuesday, right? Bloody hell, i've gone mad i have.
Today i've stayed in my pj's (until 6pm then i got dressed-huh!?!), hand sewn the buttons and snaps onto the project you see in the photos (shh, it's a secret), made gozleme for lunch, set up my shiny new computer (this took most of the day), got very frustrated with my old computer, updated my iphone and wiped the bugger clean then spent a stupid amount of time trying to restore it (which i did thankfully), made Gyoza for dinner, planted some cucumber plants (given to us by our lovely neighbour), took the big kid to Girl Guides and drank at least 4 cups of coffee (i think you can tell right?).
Now it's time for bed and i haven't done half the things i intended to do today but there's always tomorrow right? RIGHT?
sigh.
