I fell in love with the skirt, and the shirt, oh ok the whole look and even though i know i wouldn't look as hot as her i decided i'd like to make my own version.
About a month ago we took our friend Pete to Fitzroy and while there i paid my first visit to the Fabric Store. The only thing that jumped out at me was perfect for the skirt i'd been dreaming about, a grey cotton eyelet and discounted too!
2 rectangles of fabric sewn at the sides, hemmed, lined with a silver/grey rayon Fendi lining from Tessuti and a casing at the waist to thread through a thick elastic.
The shirt was given to me by the lovely Suzie along with about 5 others, Liberty shirts? I don't mind if i do!
