I spent some time looking through the pattern books at work and realised that most of those i picked out i probably had similar at home in my pattern stash and i did!
Fabric: Emperors Garden from Tessuti Fabrics. The pattern asks for 1.9m which i used and had a piece leftover due to the fold over front being cut from a single layer.
Notes: I made this in a size 10 in version D and other than shortening the skirt by an inch of so i made it as it is. I failed to realise that by shortening the skirt that i would also be raising the split at the front. It's not too short but needs some holding down on a windy day!
It was an easy pattern to sew and did take around 3 hours like it says on the pattern envelope. If i were to make this again i'd make only one alteration by placing the tie at the left seam a little higher up, it seems a little lower than it needs to be to cover the elasticated waist. Oh and maybe i'd leave the skirt slightly longer :)
