Instant Chai

A while back (when i was still pregnant i think), i got into my head that i wanted to make my own chai.  I bought heaps of spices from the Indian supermarket and made up a batch from a recipe i found online.  It was awful.
Fast forward to this week and i was checking out Craftzine blog.  They mentioned Hannah's Chai Mix and my interest in Chai resurfaced.  I dug out the spices and sent Kev to the shop for a few other supplies.  I didn't follow Hannah's recipe exactly, i didn't have instant white tea so i used black tea leaves, nor did i have Coffee Mate 'Latte Creations' so i just left that out.  I used cloves, cinnamon,  nutmeg and cardamom.

I blitzed it all together and spooned it into recycled jars.  I found a half teaspoon of honey sweetened it just enough.  This would be a great handmade gift for Christmas.  I'm getting started on a list now.  Do you have any recipes for mixes that could be given as gifts?  I'm thinking cake and biscuit mixes, drink mixes, mixes for your beauty regime etc.
