I'll have to make me my own ham as well. It will be perfect to iron something small without using the ironing board. Thanks for the tutorial.

the ancient tailor's ham i have is stuffed with sawdust ( !!!! )
i was told that kept it firm, and it wouldn't get too hot or scorch inside....
to press a sleeve or seams on a bag i roll up a magazine, then roll a towel over that, it works pretty good.
