Instructions?
UPDATE: Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I now have the instruction manual, Catherine found it along with other machine knitting books lurking under her stash :) Speaking of Catherine, she has opened an Etsy store selling her hand dyed yarns, go check it out!!
Does anyone have an Empisal knitting machine like this one?
Do you have the instruction book and if you do would you be willing to share a copy of them with me? Or any tips as to how to work the bloody thing?
Thanks :)

So sorry I can't help. but there is a machine knitters expo coming up in May.

perhaps you've already tried this route and i'm stating the obvious...but maybe ebay would turn up an old manual?
not sure about that machine, but most knitting machines work on the same basic premise...perhaps if you can get your hands on a different manual you may get the jist of how it works (if you don't know already, that is).
good luck!

i've seen one over at http://mettespotteridanmark.blogspot.com/2007/10/about-knitting.html - maybe she has more information on these old machines?

I dunno. It looks similar to one I received from friends a couple of years back. I still haven't had a chance to sit down and nut it out yet. Mine is the Knitmaster.

I haven't come across any Empisal manuals. I do have links to free Brother manuals on my blog. They are on the links sub page. It won't help you with the buttons or carriage settings. The pdf's are good for general machine knitting information.

Unlike me to know this, but the MKAV have a library and have manuals as part of it. See this link http://www.mkav.org.au/libraryDB.php?title=%25&author=%25&machine=Empisal&Submit=Search
Hope all is well,
