Acorns
For the past month we've not ventured far from home since i just don't have the energy and the girls have understandably become really bored. So we have visited the park the past few days with the girls on their bikes, after i'd had a good nap of course!
On Saturday we collected acorn shells and once home we sat on the porch and rolled acorns from some roving i've had languishing in my stash for far too long! The girls got themselves wet while i rubbed my hands red rolling the balls. We left them to dry overnight and this morning i glued them into the shells.
Pretty cute huh?
Wow, they're the cutest little acorns I've seen in a long time!

i love these. when we were in Melbourne this year, I collected some from a park. I love their shape.
