The other day my lovely friend Jac presented me with this beautiful gift

I'm sure Esme (or Errol as she insists the baby will be called if it comes out a boy) will look wonderful in it.  Thanks Jac!

Also this week i received a package from Nicole at Craftapalooza.  I sent her one of my needle rolls and she sent me these wonderful goodies

One of her amazing felt covered tape measures, some buttons and some cute fabric with threads to match!  What a lucky girl i am!

Oh yeah and i'd like to say thankyou to John and Ellen (and Catherine of course) for helping me to indulge in my pregnancy craving for crunching icecubes (10 trays a day people!).  They bought me 4 fabulous icecube trays from Ikea, i LOVE them!

I have some new crochet hook rolls up in my shop today, go check them out!

I also managed to get a little knitting done last night too, about 6 inches of the SYNO scarf for Rosa.  It's growing, slowly.

It's about time!!

I finished Clapotis 2!!! Hurray!!  It's now blocking on my bed and the cats aren't too impressed because i kicked them out of the room, they're sitting by the door looking all sorry for themselves.

I also managed to get a few other things finished this weekend.

Burp cloths!

More knitting needle rolls!  These along with some pouches will be available for sale at The Woolshack pretty soon.

I also finished another 4 pairs of pants for Mia, but they're either being worn or are in the wash, so pics will come later.

Lots and lots of goodies!

Woohoo!  I love getting mail.  Last week a package arrived from Kath over at Red Current.  We did a swap, She sent me a package of her handmade goodies in exchange for some fabric for her next craft stall.  Well, she sent me so many extras, including one of her Kroo dolls!!  I LOVE it! 

There was also a lovely smelly eye pillow and some bath tea soaks, but they're being used!

In the postbox this morning was a very nice suprise, a package from Rachael!  It took a lot of will power to stop myself from ripping it open before taking a photo, i tell you.

Isn't it cute!?  Thankyou soooooo much Rachael, Esme will look fabulous in it.  You really didn't have to, i'm extremely happy you did though! ;-)

MORE things crossed off the list....

....but i still keep adding to it so it doesn't get any smaller!  Here are a few things i've finished.

There's a bit of a production line going on in my house at the moment, all will be revealed pretty soon.  I also finished sewing up the puppet show but i need to buy some dowel before i show you, oh yeah, and i still need to make the puppets! 

I'm looking for a secondhand overlocker at the moment, i'm wanting to make nappies and tried one on my sewing machine but the edging was a little untidy, so i'm hunting around on Ebay, i hope i find one pretty soon, i'm due in 6 weeks!!!!!!

Oh, and last but not least, my auction for Oliver ended the other day and made GBP102 !!  Isn't that great?!  If you didn't see it, this is what it looked like:

I have been sewing like crazy lately and have a few new items up in my shop (see to the left of this post).

I also made Mia a new outfit last night, she seems to have miraculously grown a few inches in the past few weeks and her trousers are getting a little short!

There will be more of these outfits made, the trousers and peasant tops are so easy to do.  I also bought fabric to make a puppet show a la Angry Chicken for Mia for Christmas, although i think Kev will get more enjoyment out of it ;-)

Chop chop!

At 4:30pm yesterday my hair looked like this, yes, terrible, i know!  It hasn't been cut for almost a year.

 

An hour and a half later it looked like this,

*insert wolf whistle here*  In my opinion i look MUCH better.  I'd like to thank this girl and this girl for their encouragement to chop it off.  I have had it shorter than this on a number of occasions but decided not to go there this time.  DH seems to like it too ;--)
